Vietnam Ministry of Health on 29 Jan confirmed one more death from A/H1N1 influenza, bringing the number of fatalities in the country to 57.

A new A/H1N1 influenza cluster has recently been identified at a secondary school in Dong Xa commune in the Northern province of Bak Kan. Also, a recent outbreak of pandemic influenza was detected at Pha Le Primary School, Thuy Nguyen district, northern Hai Phong City.
